There’s something truly special about The Greenway Hotel & Spa in Shurdington, just outside Cheltenham. As soon as you step through the doors of this elegant 16th century Elizabethan manor house, nestled in the gateway to the Cotswolds, a sense of calm and luxury wraps around you.
its manicured gardens, soft rolling views and peaceful spa atmosphere, it’s the kind of place that invites you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself and with nature.
That’s exactly why it feels so right for Cheltenham Flower School to partner with them as the setting for a series of floral workshops this summer.
A Workshop Like No Other
These sessions aren’t just about making a bouquet; they are a chance to slow down and spend a few hours immersed in the simple joy of beautiful flowers in luxurious environment. As with all my Workshops, I’ll be there to guide you with gentle encouragement and practical tips, helping you build confidence and discover your own creative flair. But what makes these so special is the setting of the Greenway.
Why The Greenway?
I’ve held floral workshops in many beautiful spaces over the years, but The Greenway offers something truly unique. The light-filled rooms, the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, and the stunning backdrop of the gardens all create the perfect environment for creativity to flourish. There’s a quiet magic to it that will both inspire and fill you with relaxation.
The workshops include everything you need, from seasonal flowers and tools to plenty of encouragement. You will be welcomed with freshly brewed tea and coffee plus some delicious cake. There’s also the option to treat yourself before or after the session with a spa visit or swim. It’s the perfect way to turn a creative morning into a full day of indulgence.
And it is not just the setting that I am so happy with. From my first meeting with Luke Millikin, the Greenway’s General Manager, I felt a sense of connection and shared focus; both he and I are passionate about delivering a genuinely exceptional customer experience. Luke and his team at the Greenway also share my values and my focus on sustainability and environmental well-being and that is why I am so happy and excited to be hosting this first set of workshops in partnership with The Greenway.
